1. Coverage Overview & Vehicle Types
At Golf Cart Sales and Service LLC, we stand behind the quality and reliability of our golf carts and services. Warranty coverage varies based on the type of cart purchased:
- New Golf Carts: Covered by the original manufacturer’s limited warranty (e.g., Club Car, E-Z-GO, Yamaha, Evolution, DENAGO, ICON). Terms typically range from 2 to 4 years depending on the brand.
- Pre-Owned Golf Carts: Includes a limited 30-day to 90-day powertrain warranty covering major mechanical defect claims on the motor and rear axle, starting from the date of delivery/pickup.
- Custom Builds & Conversions: Custom alterations carry a 90-day workmanship warranty covering installation and custom electrical modifications performed in-house.
2. Battery & Component Warranties
Batteries and aftermarket accessories carry specific component-level manufacturer warranties:
- Lithium-Ion Batteries: Subject to the specific battery manufacturer’s limited warranty (typically 5 to 8 years full or prorated coverage).
- Lead-Acid Batteries: Covered under the battery manufacturer’s standard prorated warranty (typically 12 to 18 months). Regular fluid maintenance is strictly required.
- Parts & Chargers: Aftermarket accessories, chargers, and replacement parts carry a 30-day replacement warranty against factory defects.

This warranty does not cover damages or failures resulting from conditions outside our direct control, including but not limited to:
- Normal wear and tear (e.g., tire tread, brake pads, upholstery, body paint scratches).
- Damage caused by accidents, collisions, extreme off-road misuse, overloading, or submersion in water.
- Neglect or improper maintenance, such as failure to maintain lead-acid battery water levels or improper winterization.
